Sometimes, a graph on Bloomberg says it all.
Wow, just wow. There is no easy or ready mechanism to do this (of course). But the statement just took a giant chunk out of a large set of portfolios.

I don't see this ultimately going anywhere. GS has too much power in every branch of the federal government. Watch this all get walked back soon, after GS has made a hefty profit off hidden shorts and counter bets.
